This Privacy Policy describes how Elephanta Agency ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with your use of Review Slider – Product Reviews & Ratings ("the App"), available on the Shopify App Store.
1. Information We Access
During installation, the App requests access to your store's product data (read scope). This access is declared as part of Shopify's permission model. However:
- We do not read, store, or process your product data at this time.
- No product information is transmitted to our servers.
- This scope is declared for future compatibility only and will not be used without prior notice to you.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
The App does not collect, store, or process any of the following:
- Personal information of merchants or store owners
- Customer names, emails, addresses, or purchase history
- Storefront visitor behaviour or analytics
- Payment or billing information (handled entirely by Shopify)
3. Reviews You Display
The App allows you to add and display manual reviews on your storefront. All review content is entered and managed entirely by you (the merchant). We do not store, transmit, or process the content of any reviews you add to the slider.
4. Third-Party Services
The App operates within the Shopify platform. Your use of Shopify is governed by Shopify's own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We do not share data with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
5. Data Security
Since we do not collect or store any user data, there is no personal data at risk. Our infrastructure is built with minimal data handling as a core principle.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted with a revised effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
